Hi… I am new for this forum. My daughter got the P1 admission letter in Beacon school. we are staying in Jurong East. No school transport service. I am looking for private bus service. Is anyone go from Jurong East? if have, i will share.

Hi Dipti, just now i called Ling Wei transport, Yvonne (65611447). She said if more enquiry from Jurong area, will consider and inform on end of November. Now the service up to Bukit Batok. You can contact the person.

My son also got through Beacon Primary and we are staying in Jurong west, near Lakeside MRT. I have created a whatsapp group for parents I know of, whose kids are enrolled in Beacon in P1 this year. The idea of forming the group is to share information within parents and identify who lives in the vicinity and can possibly share transportation (if school doesn’t have transportation in some areas).

Dear Parents of P1 students 2018,


I received a letter from MOE that my child got placed at Beacon for P1 2018. Today I went there and realized it's quite a long walk from my place. I'm staying at Blk 275 Bangkit Road and it took me and my child about 25 minutes to walk. I am a bit worried that if there is a heavy rain it will be difficult for my child to go to school. I asked around and there is no bus going to Beacon. The nearest bus stop will be Bangkit Station which will still have to take 10-15 minutes walk without any shelter. Any parents who drives that I can share transport cost with please contact me at 97240888 -Jenny. I am also looking forward to meet new parents of P1 students. :boogie:
