Thanks Mummy of 3.
Have not decided yet, still looking around but prefer Bukit Panjang Primary compare with Nanyang Primary.
We will be under P2C if we choose Bukit Panjanr or P2A1 under Nanyang Primary next year. Travelling time, course load and exam stress are my main concern if we choose Nanyang Primary.
Hope you can give an advice as this is my 1st time for P1 registration.
Thanks -

My advice is go for NYPS next year as u can't even ballot for BPPS as u r not staying within 1km. Unless u wan to try for Beacon and Greenridge as it will be within 1km. Somemore u will be under P2A1 and is almost a confirm place for your child. For me, i will confirm my child in NYPS even i stay at Pasir Ris. It will be forever for my grandchildren or even great grand children. Must be blessed that u r from NYPS. Top school in singapore leh... u still have 1 year to think abt it. Think carefully, ok? -
Hi Mummy of 3
Thanks for the advice.
Yes I do think of register my girl to Beacon School. I went to visit the school a few months ago, the environment and classroom style are quite good. However, I do not have the chance to talk to the teachers. My main concern is that the shcool focus too much on IT and my girl will be very IT savvy but lazy in writing.
As for Greenridge, any advice or feedback.
Sure we will think carefully before we make the decision.
Cheers

Hi all!
Am very new here and stressed out by the latest news of BPPS registration.
I’m serving my hours as PV (within 2km) at BPPS for 2013 P1 registration. was informed that BPPS increased their PV intake from 60 to 80 and there will be balloting for P2B this year (which is next friday)…
I can see my chances of balloting under P2B is so slim now sob sob -
Hi Soutyl,
Not true that the school focus mainly on IT, cause my gal who is in Pri 1 still does journal writing, workbook exercise, xi zhi etc. So far she only use computer for story reading / recording / extra enrichment website ( optional ) and a small project. She is enjoying herself in school. Most importantly, the children must like the environment and teachers else their learning interest will not be there. good luck

:yikes: 80 PV... For 2005 batch is 72 PV (49 within 2km). For what i know is BPPS take in all the PV. This year P2A2 shocked me as there are 68 app. So in future really donno what will happen. This year will ballot within 2km, maybe next year not. U should try PV on Beacon or Greenridge also. If i fail in the balloting next Friday, i may go to Greenridge or Qifa for P2C.Hi all!

Hi mummy of 3!
Am quite lost now… not sure which school to go for as the backup =(
Beacon and Greenridge PV application I believe is closed already? What I heard fr BPPS VP is this year alot of siblings and old boy & girl, hence high application in P2A2.
Any pointers for Greenridge and Beacon? Am nearer to Greenridge (<1km), further from Beacon (1-2km). Beacon is getting popular, the chances of getting a seat in P2C is good?
All the best to you for next Friday!! -
