Am quite lost now... not sure which school to go for as the backup =(

Beacon and Greenridge PV application I believe is closed already? What I heard fr BPPS VP is this year alot of siblings and old boy & girl, hence high application in P2A2.

Any pointers for Greenridge and Beacon? Am nearer to Greenridge (<1km), further from Beacon (1-2km). Beacon is getting popular, the chances of getting a seat in P2C is good?

Mayb u want to try and do PV and keep your finger cross for next year intake. P2C u choose Greenridge as u stay within 1km. I agree that Beacon is getting popular and more are going there so hope my P2C to Greenridge no need ballot within 1km...

Thanks for the advice and information. We will either register NYPS or Beacon. Have signed up PV for Beacon but no reply from the School yet. Have a nice weekend.

soutyl, you mean you have already been accepted PV for Beacon but not notified for any PV duty yet? Or applied but not confirmed yet? Coz got to be accepted as PV before 1 Jul to qualify for P2B in 2012 P1 registration. If I am you, I would probably just go for NYPS too and just take it from there. But of coz you know your kid best, so you can make the best choice for your child.

Got the Segar Grove BTO... Volcano, y don't u register Greenridge or Beacon in P2B as GRL? Since u r staying within 1km between these two sch, confirm 99% get a place.

I heard of very bad review about Greenridge, sorry to say.
I will give BPPS a try, if not Beacon for phase 2C, which i also don't quite like, because its an IT school. But again most of my neigbours' children are in Beacon, as far as good.
Well, let's hope no balloting for us! :hugs:

i still prefer BPPS and since GRL can choose the school within the GRC, i should go for the best one in bukit panjang in phase 2b, right. :evil: .

moreover, its nearer to my in-laws, who are the before and after school caregivers lo.
Btw, if i go for Beacon in phase 2c, still need to go through balloting? Will it be by distance as well?
