3. Both my DS changed their classmates every year. I still remember when my DS1 was in P2 after his P1 \"streaming\", the first day of school, the teacher asked how many got 1st in class in P1 and when he turned his head around, almost the whole class raised up the hands ! He told me \"stressed\" !
:faint: :yikes: :faint: :yikes: :faint: :yikes: -
Wow, how do you know?? So, is it BPPS let you choose the class or they allocate for you? I didn't notice how many children are there in 1G. But my hubby noticed that there are more girls than boys.
I don't know how the school allocate the children cos of all the 9 P1 classes, there are another girl same name as my DS in the same class. sigh... :? Lucky the girl has a christian name...
How many sets of uniform do you intend to buy? The form teacher told me there will be 2 PE days in a week and boys can wear the PE uniform whole day but girls must change back. It's the school rule..
I intend to buy 2 PE Attire and 2 Uniform... Hope its enough...
OIC, I didn't notice the class list...
Ya, the most important thing your gal can get in...
I also intend to buy 2 sets each. My colleague told me (her DS also in BPPS) she got 2 sets each too, and she will buy say later half of the year when the uniform faded from frequent washing. I think that's a good idea... -

Really?? Hmmm... I did a google on the net and realised there is a FB specially created for the ex-principal fans...
I had heard about the turnover of the teachers and lots of people prefer the ex... Their standard and popular in bukit panjang area are also going down...durian0096:
Hi,dagong99,
can share more about bpps, i am quite new to the school, only know that the principal is 3 years old with the school...... and is quite \"ON\"...........but heard some parents of older batch prefer the ex......of late quite high staff turnover .... dont know how true.....(heard from a old cleaner in the school).
But I heard that BPPS and it's principal's standards are very high, teachers very difficult to get in leh... -
dagong99:
Yes, she is the principal for GESP for 7 years before she came to BPPS.
The principal was previously from Gan Eng Seng Pri if I didn't remember wrongly. Actually I prefer the current principal. As for the staff turnover, I think is common and we may not know, some of the turnover maybe due to MOE transfer or other personal reasons, etc. There are also some teachers who had been with the school for many years. I was there last Friday during the Prize Giving Ceremony and there were quite a number of staff working there for more than 10 years, receiving their long service award. One of my ex-classmates there is a good example.durian0096:

Thought during the orientation, the teachers said only from P3, then they will start streaming... :?I bought 3 sets uniform and 2 set PE Attire.
I get to know a mother from my gals class (She has a elder gal in the school (P5 next yr).
Actually P2 they will start to stream the kids into gd classes.
P3 stream again.
I was quite shock on the Chinese streaming in 3rd term.
And they start HCL so early.
But like some mummies say is gd to start early.
Their foundation will be there.
Hope can get to know more mummies on the first few days
of school. -
mummy of 3:
I also thinking of putting my DS in Tian Hsia. Where is your DD1's branch? My DS is currently in Berries, am not continuing next year...
I put my DD1 in Tein Hsia and her Chinese did improve but not to excellent yet... But also hope she can get into HCL in Term 3 next year...gos1024:
