another way to do +/-/x faster.....hv lots of practise like kumon ....however, can be v dry.....when the child goes primary no time to do all this lei.....

yaya, so now she is doing lots of assessment books.. Hee.. luckily she like to do these excerises...

Attending P1 preparation class, eng, maths & chinese... at Zhenghua CC, level 4 Rainforest Studio, every sat 9am-12nn.
Also send her to Berries for HanYuPinYing lessons, 6 lessons nia, so more like drilling and revising.

I haven’t receive any email from Mr Yusoff recently, I still have 12 hours PV to go.

Currently I don’t have any back up plan for next year’s enrollment, as BPPS is the only school within 1 km from my home.

I hope that it will not be bollating wihtin 1km in P2B next year.

I don't think my DS can eat another bowl of noodles or rice during recess time since he will be taking his lunch before going to school... So a bread should be sufficient... But I think you are right that it's a good opportunity to buy food since got buddy... Let me discuss with my DH...

Now, I'm actively training my DS on using money in Mandarin in case the canteen uncle or auntie don't know how to speak English...

Why you say your DD maths cannot make it?? BTW, I read somewhere that kumon doesn't follow MOE curriculum. You might want to check this out...

Durian0096, we can foresee she will have difficulties in Maths, cos she is very careless and she just want to finish her work FAST!
So by wanting to finish her work fast, she don't read the questions well, then chin cai calculate and ans.
Also till now still using fingers to count... :sad:
She is attending P1 preparation class, even the teacher say, yes she is very careless lo.

Then i want her to attend some extra classses or tution in the morning since next yr is PM session. :evil: :evil:
Don't think my mil can coach her anything other than Chinese. hee.

Wanted to send him to CMA but DH doesn't agree... He said count so fast for what... sigh...

But you are good, you send your DD to prepartory class... I didn't... I hope those enrichment classes he attended are enough for him.... If not xiao liao...

Just to share with all the parents.
In K2, i send my DD1 to Mindstrecher for Eng/Maths and Tien Hsia for Chinese.
Her Chinese improve a lot and im impress with her Exam for very Term.

Today is her last day in Mindstrecher and had let her join Just Education for Eng/Maths in JE.
I like their weekly worksheet and the teacher will give u true opinion of your child. As for chinese, she continue in Tien Hsia at JP.

Hope her Chinese can be standard (in the middle)

Actually i dun need her to calculate fast. But she needs to understand the concept lo.
For eg, a question like this.
Total 16 pens, put 4 pens into one box, how many boxes are needed.

She don't get it... :(:(

Btw. Bukit batok berries is having an advanced crash course, 3 lessons only, for HYPY, in early dec.
Used to send my DD to berries too but stop at K2 cos she complain. Also not convienent if DS wants to tag along. So now can only find classes nearby home.

I only sent my DD to English class. The rest, i will just
give her some worksheets and assesment books to do.
