dd didnt write the date of the spelling except only the month feb. i asked her is she the only one getting the list yest (bec mc on monday)?
she said everyone is getting the list yesterday. I am thinking the spelling cant be tomorrow rght? only less than 2 days to learn :yikes:

this is strange, your ds didnt get the list? then got to infor the teacher..
i am not sure how many issues we will receive......as long as we get more than 12 issues the rest is bonus bec $1 per copy.....(expensive as compared to \"hao Peng You\") if i know would not have subscribed as the latter magazine is better ! only 40Cent per copy .........ds's sch made them compulsary ( 30 issues for $12/-) but only for P1 to P2.[/quote]Maybe I'll write to the teacher and ask how many copies we will get. My DD say spelling is tmr, so I just get her to learn for the past few days. I did not notice the date. Hee.

1F teacher said English spelling every Thursday. The latest spelling my boy get is for the topic on Dan, the flying man. The one with mountains word. The mandarin spelling, teacher write the date on the spelling list. My boy had the mandarin spelling yesterday. The next one is next wk. Math performance is wat the teacher called. She wrote letter to me cos I was at overseas and my boy absence frm class a few days. Art class no cloth. This wk 1F do book mark.

i think tonite will check dd diary again c if i hv missed out the part on spelling.
anyway, your ds have not got the spelling list so cant be tomorrow either. is too short a time for the kids to master the list if is tomorrow. -

Asked my DS just now why he never bring back the spelling list yesterday. He said he did. He put inside the file but I never saw it. Anyway, he wrote on the spelling list that the spelling is on 9 Feb.
BTW, today he brought back the 1st issue of xiao mu zhi today. Wonder if the teacher will give the 2nd issue tomorrow. I guess we should receive 20 issues for the whole year if there are 2 issues per month (excl school holidays). I will still check with the teacher. -
i have receive 3 copies of xiao mu zi.
Login to the parents/school portal. Found the ting xie list is there. 10 week ting xie list.
I ask DD abt the maths performance review. She say nothing… just some worksheet. lolz.
I didn’t revise with her. I don’t want to stress her too early. -
