I didnt ask. The teacher just say my gal is above average.
So far she is able to cope with all the homework and the school
work. So no need to worry.

Only mandarin need to practice chinese character recognition.

i am enrolling my son for p1 for 2013 intake. anyone staying in Braddell area?

we are pr’s hence we cant enrol him to our neighbourhood school due to new MOE ruling. very slim chance in getting him in.

Does pm school start at 1230 - 630pm?
What is the work load like for P1 in bp?

Have to reach sch before 12.40pm and dismissal will be @ 6.20pm.
Im staying at JE area and there is no sch bus for my DD1 even im willing to pay $140 per mth.
So my mum will bring her to sch and i will fetch her home.
Do u intend to stay nearer to Bt Panjang area? As when is 2016, all sch in sg will be in AM session.
As for the workload, i feel is ok for my DD1. Its just mummy no time to revise with her. :evil:

yes i have checked with the school and the furthest school bus is to CCK. we moved to Braddell area just 2 years ago and to move again so soon is very taxing for whole family. that’s why i thought i should try commute and at the same time put his name down for transfer to our neighbourhood school. Chances are slim since its high density area.

I move from Bishan (thinking of register my gal in Ai Tong which is within 1km) to Bukit Panjang last year because of my gal. She manage to get in to BPPS because my husband is old boys. We are staying in a rental unit now. Moving to our permanent house soon. Just bought a new unit nearby the school.

I have tried to arrange for transport from Bishan to Bukit Panjang. But to no valid. So don't think any of the school bus is willing to go so far, even you are willing to pay.

So its better to start planning now.

Dear all,

Had received the New Chinese Language Curriculum. Can i know the groups of Bridging, Core and Enrichment? Had forgotten about the banding of Chinese in Term 3... Any one can share? Enrichment is doing higher chinese, Core is normal chinese and Bridging is foundation chinese... right? :scratchhead:

Info from DD1's Chinese Teacher. She said that Enrichment is a stepping stone to Higher Chinese as only P2 offer Higher Chinese.

Hope DD1 can maintain her Chinese from now onwards

My gal is in the core group. So not so much worries.

At least i know she still able cope with the MTL.
