I think there are only a handful of us with kids going to GRPS and thus not able to reply to your question about student-care? I think currently just outside GRPS there is a BASC operate by the church. Newlife BASC. Near the carpark opp Greenridge Shopping centre there is another tuition centre cum BASC. Further behind across the canal, near to Fajar shopping centre quite afew like Proteach & Groworld to the end of the block.

What I heard is GRPS might have their own BASC within the school since the opening of the new building but not sure when it’s going to operate?

My child is ok with the school but sometimes she doesn’t want to go school, maybe not because of too much school work but some other reason (???)

It’s true that they are given homework but not to the extend that "alot", sometimes they finish them in class. I believe that Math is the suject which will take up alot of time at home as hw and need to hand in the next day. If she has CCA, she cannot finish the hw. (but sometimes no hw at all). Worst if there are spelling and tingxie to learn & recap. My child is not very fast learner, so…

I do think that HW are ok cause in my case, can force my child to learn, otherwise she will just laze around and watch TV. The teacher should give a few more days for dateline, and then if so the next day don’t add too much more hw to the same subject else the snowball effect, they cannot finish, gets tired and dislike that subject (or even the teacher).

Both are NE school, so you will decide which school is better for you
West Spring is a new school everything is new. Alot of support from MOE.

They have only lower primary so far, your child will form part of the pioneer batch.

my daughter born on 2010 currently in K2, she will be in P1 on 2017.
We are staying at senja road ( postal code 673636), about 1.5KM from my blk to Greenridge
Primary school, can you pls let me know whether I still can/possible to enrol/register her to
Greenridge Primary school?

Is there any student care in the school or I need to search outside?

Based on GRPS past trend, more than 1Km usually the chances of getting into the school is low. As usually, within 1km all the places are taken up and balloting for those PR within 1km.
You may check with the school, maybe within the 1km and not 1.5km.
GRPS will have student care in school in second half of year 2016. Operated by YMCA from the notice I got. There are 3 student care around the school.
