            Hello All,

My DS is in 1 Adaptibility too. Good to know… beside jongivy, I have other mummies! we must exchange phone numbers soon. Anyone going for the Jan 13 Forum? I am!

Also want to know for PE shirts do we need to put on the name tags? If yes, above the school badge?

            Thanks!

Hi, was packing DS’s bag with him and he told me that the broad line exercise books that were bundled in the booklist are not the correct ones. He said most of the students have the broad line exercise books only a few has the correct single line exercise book. The form teacher is asking them to change to/buy the correct exercise books.

Any one of you told to do that? I am sending an email to the teacher to confirm as well. Just want to check if any of the other classes are told to do so as well.

                Hi

My son Tim is in Adaptability too. I’m Joyce. I’ve met Jeanie, but not anyone else so would be great to get to know more parents. See you at the forum.

Yup same for DS. The word cards are still in his bag and so are all the exercise books.

I am just wondering if the other classes were told to change the exercise books. If it was a mistake in the book list, why did the school not highlight to pacific books to correct the mistake. My order was delivered rather late in Dec so they had almost a month to change it out. Or alternaively, the school could have sent out an email to inform parents of this mistake. I have written DS's name and class on the books so no way to exchange.

Anyways, just in case really cannot use these exercise books, I have given DS some money and told him to go to the bookshop to get the correct ones. Hope he can sort it out, else gotta find time to make a trip just to get these exercise books.

Or maybe we should get the form teacher to help bring the kids to the bookshop and facilitate the purchase or exchange since they are only P1s, still blur blur.

                      Hi hi everyone

Think it’s correct to have the single lines instead of the broad ones.
Happened to be informed by a parent during orientation day while queuing up to buy the books. So had it sorted out earlier. Some classes’ form teachers actually inform parents to change during the teacher-parents interaction during orientation.
Had initially thought only certain classes using single line.

Yah that's why I was wondering why not just do a mass email to all P1 parents to change instead of the teachers telling class by class and what about those parents who were not at the orientation.

For DS's class, 1/2 the time me and DH could not hear what the teacher was saying and also we were kinda distracted by so many other info so may have missed out this bit of info. Thereafter, I heard something to that extent but could not verify so did not make the change.
