Hi, just registered my dd for P1 in HPPS fir 2016 also.

Does anyone know if we are supposed to receive anything (ie. Confirmation slip) via snail mail from the school after registration?

The picture showing Henry Park Primary School. Many parents who have yet to know the outcome must be very nervous now.

No balloting for 2B last year - which is rare case among popular schools. HPPS take in PV but number is relatively small last year, mostly GRL. Parents of 2a2 can consider PV or GRL to enhance its chance in 2B before 2c.

Hi! Can anyone shed some light on the school’s science Project - Young Investigator?

                      Any past experience to share?

                      Thanks!

I got this from the school’s website-

                        YOUNG INVESTIGATORS’ DAY (YI DAY)
Inquiry-based learning is greatly enhanced by the YIP programme introduced in Primary 4 and Primary 5. It is conducted yearly over a period of five weeks. Variables Lessons done in Primary 3 prepares the students for this YI Programme.

A YI resource package, consisting of proposal forms and roles & responsibilities is made available for teachers to refer to and use with their students. This helps to hone leadership and collaborative skills amongst the students. The project helps students to learn and practise critical thinking, inquiry and investigative skills. It helps to foster imagination and creative thought. They learn to work with others as a team, learn discipline in project management and organisational skills. These are essential skills that students need to develop to succeed in life.
