checked there are bus nos 7,8 to Woodlands area. No Sembawang, Yishun and AMK. Can call and check if they will be go to Sembawang. PM me the pricing quoted. Thanks.

My son is also in HPPS next year, I have a question on Name tag, so people print the full name including surname or just the Hanyu pin yin name, my son has his english name, but we prefer for him to use his Chinese/ Hanyu pinyin name..

I have not received letter for the class allocation yet though?

U can decide on what name you want to have it on the name tag.
I just place my son english name and surname coz' if to add all too long got limited character. Also u can have short form like \"Ann Tan L.L\" or \"Chen Li Li\", \"Ann Chen Li Li\" also can.

I chked and my fees from Jurong West is $110 per month.... hmmm... at least this is cheaper than her pre-school bus a year ago

However, still not able to order books online or see the book list for HPPS from Pacific Book store... I called and they say book list not received yet. Maybe it'll be uploaded online these few days

That's normal for kids staying far away.
BTW, Wed though the sch starts in 1:30pm, but the bus would comes 15-20 mins earlier so that they will be in sch on time to pick up the morning session at 12pm. How much are you quoted? BTW, it is 2 way or 1 way?

I'm quoted $100 one way and $160 for 2 way but the driver prefers we take 1 way.


That means my girl would spend 1 hr in school and she's not one who can buy healthy lunch and consume it diligently. Looks like I've to activate plan B

That's what I thought so. Previously I was quoted $90 for 1 way to AMK too, but ended up didn't take as my son got CCAs ended up not worth taking on 3 times a week only for that $90.

I dun think will spend 1hr in sch, maybe 45mins plus they have reading time for the kids in the sch hall. During my son time, they can sign up for this 10 weeks chinese lesson conducted by the external operator on Wednesday.

So, what did you do in the end? Did you bring your child to school and back home everyday?

Plan B - Take MRT via Circle line to Buona Vista and take a bus there
Plan C - Shift nearer

Currently, we have yet to try out Plan B to estimate the journey time but we will likely try Plan B and C concurrently. Actually thinking of them tires me ... :snooze:
