Read that your dd is in gymnastics. How is it so far? any feedback from ur dd?

Cos, my dd wanted to join gymnastics too but the timing clash with her 1st choice cca ie. art club.

        Hi dadelina

She seems to enjoy gymnastics so far. Think there are 2 instructors from China coaching them. You are thinking of signing up your DD for 2nd CCA?

          Hi Super Mama,

Well, gymnastics was her 2nd choice and she wanted to join too - haha! maybe she was being rather 'ambitous', I guess.

But since both were on Tuesday, she picked Art instead - art is her 1st love and she's been looking forward in joining the art club ever since she knew hpps has it as one of their CCAs for P1s πŸ™‚

I was OK for her to join (and 'test water') two CCAs as I knew P1's schedule is not as hectic as the upper primary levels.

            Dear all,

My boy is born in 2008. We live within 2 km of HPPS. I am considering applying to be PV.

Does anyone have any advice on the selection process? Is it very competitive? Are they looking for any particular skills? How many PVs do they usually select per year?

If I do volunteer and I live within 2 km, based on history, do I have to ballot?

            Thanks!

Hi, just FYI, P1 kids can go for the Thu CCA Gym session as well.
My dd joins her elder sis on Thu.
Do check with the teacher-in-charge - Ms Sim.

                        Hi Xeern,
My dd2 will also be joining the HPPS family next year. who knows if they'll be classmates πŸ˜‰

And, yes, they will be having an on-site student care centre when the old site re-opens - this was as per update provided by the school abt a few weeks ago.
