Hi all,


I received a Chinese enrichment course sign up for P1 level. Any feedback if it’s good & wonder anyone knows how many students in a class & if it’s effective?

The school has already cut down by 1 class since last year registration for this year intake. It was from 330 to 300.

I m not too sure if they are going to reduce further. Are you looking into HPPS?

Dear Parents,

Undst HPPS is not affliated to the secondary school. do you parents feel \"stressed\" up bcos of this? usually what is the percentage difference for affliated schools with minimum cutoff points. i have heard stories of some children who didnt do as well in HPPS PSLE & was posted to a lousy neighbourhood school instead.

i also heard that they are cutting down 1 class (30 seats) by next year due to single session? is it true? then getting a place for my child in will be even more difficult

Applying for my son to enter P1 for HPPS next year and should be able to get in (we are Phase 2A(1)).

Problem is we stay far (jurong point), so i hope to hear about the experiences of any who is staying around there.

So far, what i gathered is that P1 for 2013 will still be afternoon session, if P2 switches to Single session, anyone knows how the timing will be like ?

We're staying in Jurong West Ext. too - near the sports complex. Currently pick up time for dd1 is 11.20am and dropoff at 7pm. So, quite ok, taking into consibederation that sch finishes at 6.30pm.

However, I'm not sure whether 2013's p1 and p2 sessions. So can't comment. Sorry

Hello everyone, I am NEW here. Any recommendation for english & chinese enrichment class which your kids have attended? My girl is now in P1 but weak in both english & chinese subjects and scoring very badly in her spellings too. Is there going to be any test or examination in HPPS? So far, I did not hear anything from the school. Would appreciate if someone could provide info. on this… T.I.A…

There are no exams for P1, but there are tests. There is actually a letter for P1 sent by the school admin on the tests dates. Other than tests, there are listening comprehensions, reading accuracy record & also show and tell who are also weighted. And it has began since 1-2 week ago.

Which class is your daughter in? As for spellings, I think need to spend some time to let your daughter go through & learn. I think enrichment classes won't help in that, and some enrichment classes also have extra spelling apart from the school.

Hi, my DD1 not in HPPS but she is in P1 this year also.
DD1 went to Han Language for Chinese and Maths & Eng at Just Education.
Both enrichment are @ JE
