Just a curious question for P4 parents in NYPS, do you know if there are students of GEP school after getting into GEP transfer to NYPS and left their original school which also offers GEP?

Yes, I know someone who did that. The reason is to get the second child into NYPS under Phase 1. The timing was just right as the 1st child is P4 (transferred to NYPS GEP) and the 2nd child is K2 just nice for P1 registration.
The 1st child is a girl from RGPS which also offers GEP. The 2nd is a boy so the transfer would make sense that the boy can get into NYPS without having to ballot in the later phases of P1 registration. -

Hi,
anyone has any idea if I was from nyghs, is considered affliation?
Which phase will it typically be in?
Thanks -
Only if you are from NYPS you will be either under Phrase 2a1 or 2a2. Even Nanyang Kindergarten is non affiliation to NYPS. NYGH and kindergarten is together withe NYPS under Nanyang Family.

oh that means will have to go for other options like moving within 1km etc liao right.

Hi hmsg,
Thanks for your info! I pray that my child will have a chance to get in NYPS.

Then no issue, they do not differentiate whether u r PV or GL @ 2B, or by distance from school. If 2B is estimated to be 50 vacancies, they usually take lesser PV so as to cater for GL... If demand still exceeds supply, then will have to ballot... past data showed they are very good at their estimation!i3mum:
Hi hmsg,
Thanks... sigh I guess it will be tough to get in as grassroots leader.
I am not, but my hubby is a grassroot leader. -
