am sure many pr would just rent for 2 years and then move away. usually just 2 or 3 persons so a 2 rms condo is fine, i guess.

because of the housing type around NYPS, not many PR will be there, unless they buy the 38 year/old HDB flat with S$100k COV
Erm are you forgetting the rich prs? Those in exec positions, and the Jim Rogers sort, and not forgetting the super rich from the mainland. I don't think we really have a good gauge of the number of prs in the school. Quite a number of Malaysian prs too. -

Thanks, busyMom n Tingting. Ya... Got the test schedule... So many tests again. Is the term 1 Chinese marks considered in SA1 marks? My girl's CL tr told me that one test in term 1 n one test in term 2, then both marks add together, take average, multiply by 5%. Then now got 2 CL written tests for term 2? Calculations still based on average of 3 papers n take 5%? But it was stated in test schedule: 5% of test 2 n 5% of test 3. So no more average? If we follow Math n EL dept, then term 2 Chinese is 10% already?
i didn't realized the two written test until i saw your post, only saw the listening test..so blur on the marks calculation now. guess need to ask around..
asked around n got the conclusion.. average of 3 tests for term 1 n 2 = 5% of report book marks. total marks for chinese test in report book will be 10%. 5% each semester.
hope this will help..

hi wintersoul, sorry hear such a thing happened to your girl as well. i don't if the teachers are too busy or what but i tend to call the form teacher whenever incidents like that happens.
my girl takes the school bus and she tells me that there is a boy that scares the girls and he tried to strangle one of her friends. seems that i can't do much about that as it happened some time ago. my girl tends to tell mi things that happened like last wk? lucky that your girl tells u on the day. just like last term, during pe, her friend pushed her n she fell on her bum on the drain. she cried cos of the pain and the pe teacher sort of scolded her for being a cry baby and didn't tell the friend off and walked away.

Thanks, Tingting for clarifying on the marks calculation for Chinese. P.E teacher? My girl just changed her PE teacher last week… I fetched my girl everyday n I know many of her classmates. Seems that the kids don’t really like their new PE teacher too…hahaha… must wait a while n find out more. Kids are very straightforward. They tell you everything. But my girl n friends love their English teacher very much. You may want to encourage your girl to talk about things that happened the same day. My girl talks non stop the moment she gets into the car…

My girl's pe teacher is still the same. She got hit again by the ball today. Fetched her at 12. Her form teacher was suggesting to the pe teacher that maybe can let her miss the ball games since she has the tendency to get hit by the ball at the same time the ball hit her. Yes, ball got into her face again. Lucky the pe teacher took my suggestion about the kids wearing glasses when the ball hits them. This time round, it hit her right eye right on the spot. Seems that they will be tested in their ability and agility in ball games.
She talks a lot but not the important stuffs.. lol.. mostly about her recess box.. hehe -
