I’m hoping to get my DD into NYP under phase 2B. Registration is tomorrow and based on MOE stats, 24 place but 30 people already registered today.
Need to calculate our chances, Do any of you know how many PVs the school takes each cohort?
I leave within 1KM and am really starting to get worried about the balloting…Any info will be appreciated.

Well, you are right but:

1. those students waiting for parents at the gate will see it. The young minds may think it is ok to smoke since the teacher/school staff is doing it.

2. secondhand smoke effect for those standing too near or when there is wind.

It could be a parent / PV...Did that person wear any identification which indicate he/she is school admin staff or teacher?...
