Depends on the time table assigned. Some have PE on 3 days while others have PE on 2 days.

I usually buy 2 sets first, then wait for the finalised (teacher may sometimes give temporary one first) time table before buying the 3rd set. Girls have to wear the skirt even on PE days.

I bought 3 sets… Simply because they are in white color. Was informed that PE shirts for girls are out of stock for now.

a random question - what to pack for my P1 kid’s bag for first few days/week? no time table given yet so duno what to pack in terms of books eg is it to bring all textbooks to school or just bring workbooks etc etc? …

for moms & dads in the know,
what will the first few days/weeks be like, up till Chinese new year … (ie in terms of curriculum)?

There was a stack of papers distributed during the orientation and i think it indicates what to bring. I don't have that with me at the moment but will scan when I have a chance

my kid only got a NYPS folder. inside was the sheet on school songs/pledge etc etc & a sheet from form teacher introducing herslf but nothing on what to bring to school. so for me, 1st time P1 parent, I really am clueless what to pack into bag. in fact I see many parents saying NYPS gets students to leave textbooks in school locker, I am just wondering then if I need to buy another set to leave at home - otherwise I don't even know what is going on wrt to school work. any thoughts on this?
would not mind a playdate but at present we r going for a short vac (leaving this fri night) & returning 1st jan so prob no time fr now till school open .. what class is your kiddo? mine's in class 1D
