I wonder if there is dental clinic within rvps?
Yes, they do have an in-house dental clinic. -
Pure Purple:
Hi, happen to see your post - i am parent of ex RVPS student. I know there is a after school care at kiliney Road, i think it is called ABC Learning or sth like that (it is situated in a lane between 2 shop houses opposite SingTel), not sure if it is still there though. Many of my son's classmates attend the after school care there and the school bus actually dropped the kids there. U can maybe check with the school bus provider Poh Lee Transport. they are pretty helpfuRive Valley High, the secondary school is not affiliated.
I also learnt that RVPS hasn't got an \"Alumni Association\", so there is no advantage registering as an alumni with the School. Parents who were from RVPS get into Phases 2A2, not 2A1.
I'm keen on information on after-school care around RVPS as well. Most importantly, whether there is help with shuttling the kids from School to the after-school care?
I do hope that RVPS will have an after-school care within its school premises. That will be such a great option for parents.

hi.
Yes, there is a before/after school care called Alphabet Playhouse along dublin road, opposite SingTel building…
For Primary 1 students who are in afternoon sessi0on, they will be in the school care during the morning. Around 12:30pm, the school bus (poh lee transport) will bring them to RVPS…The school care has scheduled lessons to help students revise their schoolwork, especically for weekly spelling tests and semester assessments. You can look for Ms Felicia who is the teacher in charge of the school care…
hope these info helps… -
Great, the information on Alphabet PLayhse and Poh Lee Transport for the before and after school care is helpful. Thanks, OrangeJuice n plan2012!

Hi Orangejuice
ur child is x RVPS student
how you find RVPS?
Hi RVPS parents
Will the kids know which class they are in
at orientation? -
verykiasu:
Hi verykiasu, my son was there up to P3. He was then offered GEP so we moved him to one of the GEP schools. I have an elder child who was from an all-girl primary school. In comparison, I found RVPS less stressful academically (my personal perception) , my son has lots of opportunities to participate in activities like leadership camp, school camps, visiting old folks' home, watching plays etc ...Although I thought the focus was not so \"academic\", i have no complaints as I thought it gave my son a well-rounded exposure and he was very happy at RVPSHi Orangejuice

Hi Orangejuice
Thanks for the update, you have a brilliant boy…so blessed!
So far I heard the feedback on RVPS quite competitive for the top 3 classes & I think RMPS is even more stressful
I hope my boy will enjoy his pri school days at RVPS as much as your boy -
Hi Orangejuice,
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is very useful information for us.
Indeed you are blessed to have a brilliant boy.
I also looking forward to the orientation with my DD and hope my DD will enjoy her school life with RVPS.
Hi verykiasu,
I would suppose we are able to know their classes during Orientation so that kids can mingle during that day. I guess. -
