        Hi KTP

        I saw booklist that book 1B there's HCL & CL, so will there be a test to see who is going to which & in the same class there will be mixed of students taking HCL & CL, till end of P2 then they split into different classes?

        In the booklist those CL cards are they useful to purchase? What are the items that are not necessary?

        Thank you
        There will be no specific tests but they will be streamed by end June based on their regular mini tests. Thus do not buy 1B textbook first. During Chinese lesson, the kids will move to their respective classes I.e. HCL, enrichment, core or bridging. Then they will move back to their own class after the Chinese lesson.

        In my own opinion, I do not think it is necessary to buy the cards, I did not buy for my DS.

          Good question!

          Need senior RV parents to advice us ๐Ÿ™‚ I was thinking too if the CL cards are useful and do we need to purchase all the items stated? I guess the RV artbag is compulsory (?)

          but we don't need to purchase the other art materials if we have it right? Do we need to purchase all other exercise / note books and files in the quantity stated? Thinking those can buy along the way right coz sometimes they change the \"version\" (eg logo bigger / smaller etc) so don't need to rush to buy it at one go?

          As for CL books, I think they do stream in June to HCL or normal Chinese when the kids will move classes during Chinese lessons after that so don't need to purchase 1B textbook first.

          Thank u existing RV parents for the advice :hugs:

          Hi

          Art bag is not compulsory, my DS only used once.

          RVPS files (blue, yellow, red) and one ring file are compulsory. They will keep all 'important worksheets' in the respective files for the three subjects. The thick file is the holistic file where the teacher will return to them by end of each term. But again they won't need this at the beginning of the school term, so can still take your time to get it.

          Hope the above is helpful.

                  There is no meaning to the color group, except for PE lesson and sport carnival.

                    There are 4 color groups representing:

                    Blue = Respect
                    Green = Integrity
                    Yellow = Compassion
                    Red = Excellent
                    The so-called "RICE"

                        Will be taking school bus as I am staying Queenstown area. u?
                        My DD also going P1. But we have not yet received the letter. I stay Queenstown too and DD will have to take school bus too.... I hope she is not 1st up last down for her bus...... Was thinking of chartering a bus and find parents to join so they don't have to endure the distance but I guess it's tough to find enough head count....
