I had just registered my DD this morning. Anyone staying at telok blangah crescent? Just like to ask how is the school bus transportation to/from this area? Will she be going merry-go-round before reaching school/home?

I intend to enroll my DS into RVPS. But I would like to check with parents are there cases of school bullies in this school? This is one of my concern when choosing a primary school.

my son is in P1 for seven months already in RVPS

so far no bullies
and his Form Teacher is very motivating and encouraging.
as there is only P1s in PM session, there are no Bigger bullies in school…which I like…
They have not gone single session yet
P1s are in PM sessions
P2s onwards are AM sessions

Thanks verykiasu for the information! Any problems getting food during recess? I mean are all the stalls open or just 1 or 2 stalls since only P1s in the afternoon.

I'm only registering next year. Doing PV now

Oh oh, I heard kids in RVPS are given a lot of homework, is that true?

oh food no worry…

all stalls are opened but do not know why one of the stall selling chicken rice is closed recently my boy is missing it. guess the owners change or go for holiday hopefully coming back soon. The stalls are asked to open for the P1s too by mgt I guess they have to oblige

for homework I read from here RVPS gave alot of homework after my boy went in, I realise its not true I find quite minimal…till I have time to give my boy other homework…

except chinese teaching pace quite fast by mid year have to grade them to Higher Chinese, core or foundation level…

Thank you! 6.30pm sounds late! Prob cos I was never in the pm session thruout my pri/sec life
Registration not very ideal for me... was thinking of putting my boy there. but we're more than 2km away. No chance. I called up the sch earlier and it's already over subscribed May have to ballot within 1km...
