can someone please verify if st margarate's is correctly placed in onemap-> schoolquery?
it still shows location as at Wilkie Road but the school website says it will be at temp location (2 mattar road) until 2022~!

Distance is calculated based on original site. SMPS will move back to Wilkie road in 2023 January. The school has already issued letter to existing parents to confirm this

There’s no balloting last year properly because of the lower birth rate. Ballot for dragon children so do expect a ballot for horsey as birth rates are similar to dragon year but seat numbers smaller

I’ve heard they are not giving out the distance breakdown. Did they atleast tell you how many have applied so far? I’m outside 2km too.

You may check on the daily applicants on MOE website after 8pm. This number does not have distance breakdown.


It depends on the person who handle the exercise . Some are willing to give so parents will know where they stand.

Till date for 2020 registration: 57 applicants for 97 vacancies. Thus, distance breakdown is irrelevant at this point. I highly doubt that the school will be filled by Phase 2C this year.

If your objective is to get your daughter into a girls school with an affiliated secondary school, then SMPS fits the bill very well. Apply in 2C sure in. If you wait till 2CS, not sure if >2km got a chance.
