the upgrading completion for the school is 2 years later..
what's the reason you choose de la salle , and what are the negative feedback you heard ?

      hihi,

yes! when the upgrading is completed in 2013, hopefully my boy will be in the new upgraded school in P1 =D

the reason i chose this school is cos i am staying in cck & its a catholic school.

the negativities that i've heard is that a student threaten to kill/attack a teacher with a penknife & that the teachers turnover rate is extremely high. anyone care to comment on this?

ya. wish that your boy is selected for DLS, we also plan for DD in 2014 too , she will be in CCK Bible Kindergarden next year .

Yes the teacher turnover is high when my DS was p2 last year ,but this year is fine . I believe it will be better for upper primary due to PSLE preparation .
I never heard anything about the emotional unstable student .

my DS is former lasalian for lower primary ( p1 to p3 ) , school life was relax & enjoyable.[/quote]
      hiya,

if teacher turnover rate is high then it will not be good for the students regardless which level they are in but since it's another 2 more years to go & with the upcoming upgrading going on, hope everything would have settled down with the 'new feng shui' hehe... =P

What should our P2 kids bring on the first day?

                      Hello,

May I ask which BASC you have chosen for your child studying at DLS? For lower primary P1-P2, I assume it is afternoon session till 6pm? If you are a full time working parent and normally finish work at 7pm earliest, how do you manage to pick up your child after school? Will you ask your child to wait at school if you do not have a maid or grandparents to help out?

Please comment or your advise is very much appreciated.

                      Thanks. 😄

                        Hi,

Does any parents here with their kids at DLS stay about 2km away ? I would like to know if anyone manage to get a place for their kids which is close to 2km away. Now that DLS is at Teck Whye, how do you manage your BASC?
