I called south view primary school ask for the information about being a PV (my girl was born in 2008, some schools start the PV application next year 2012). The lady said, any PV of south view is not open yet…even for kids born in 2007. Then what does this mean? what should we do? I live within 1 km of this school.

Call the school in one year's time, i.e. Dec 2012. South View normally open their PV application in April, 2 years before commencement of P1. i.e. P1 in 2015, Apr 2013 application starts. You may also want to check the school's website for updates on PV application.
