Hi, I have missed out the chance to purchase the Hansvision chinese e-dictionary @ the school’s canteen. Do you know will they come back again or they will only visit the school once a year?

My ds said family day is at marina barrage cos holding school is not in good condition.

Phew! Cant imagine if its at holding school..the residents will complain for sure due to lack of parking space..

Is Hansvision good? Why not try Besta,my personal preference? You can purchase it directly from them.

Is Hansvision good? Why not try Besta,my personal preference? You can purchase it directly from them.

I hv got lots of feedbacks that Hansvision is a better choice as compared with Besta :D. The only bad review was its screen cracked easily but they have improved this with the latest model.

Blurbee, i think it's not compulsary to purchase the tickets - i remembered we didn't buy the tickets one yr 'cos not free on that day. Now, i've got 2 dds in the sch; thinking of just buying one set, may be from the P1 only. I haven't received anything yet; heard this yr's family day is not in the sch compound; is it true ??

Same here, I hv not received anything yet. My ds is in P2. I think it shd b fun having it at somewhere different from the miserable sch . I just hope that they hv ample parking space for all parents.

I hv never bn to their family day. Can anyone advise what to expect?

Pinkie, previous yrs’ family day is always at KHS; so dunno what to expect at marina barrage - haven’t been there b4. the family day leaflet advised parents to take public transport 'cos limited parking lots; also dunno if they got many makan and games stalls or not ?? DD2 insisted must buy tickets 'cos their ft said "everyone MUST GO!" - well u know the power of ft = what they say, the students (especially P1) will follow. actually, we have to go to NYGH for the open house and DH was thinking of skipping the family day but now… die, die must go ! anyway good to attend KHS family day to show support and a good chance to visit marina barrage.

Still blur abt the ticketing as whether to purchase a ticket for DS (2yo). :?

Blurbee, I think the ticket @ $3 is to be used as coupons for playing games and not as entrance tickets. $3 can be used to participate in 3 activities as stated in the leaflet. U can just buy $3 and the whole family can still go but the kids will not have enough coupons to have much fun. Usually they will sell additional tickets on that day but don’t know if it’s the same this yr.
