If you have served at least 40 hours before the P1 registration, you will be in phase 2B.hi taolao
Thanks for your information.
Even if I will have the chance to work PV, most likely we will not get the chance even in p2B and P2C because my block is about 100m away from 2KM. So sad....Anyone think that I should just give up the application?
Depending on the number of applications for that year, you may not even have to go through the balloting at all, even your home distance above 2 km (That means all PV get their slots if the number of PV is less than the allocated slots). I know some PV stays far away and still can get theirs. -
Hi Windows
I thought enrichment should not be compulsory right ? Anyway, I’ve already made travel plans (oops, I didn’t even realise there’s this Math enrichment class until you mentioned it here) and I guess got no choice but my DD2 will miss it. -

Is swimming compulsoy or juz a cca for P3?
It's just a CCA. -
Hi ChiefKiasu
Tot there’s a nation wide swim safe programme to ensure all Pri sch children can swim ? I was hoping KSH have this compulsory swimming programme for all P3 children. -

Was at Mountbatten CC during Polling Day.Hi BlurBee
My DD2 said MUST go, so got no choice - at least it's at the school which is quite near my house. Hopefully the weather's good.
Wonder if the Principal will take this opportunity to put up some pictures/ plans for the new KHS. Didn't even know what's the progress of the new KSH - seemed not much activity from outside. Anybody staying near by can comment ? Hope can shift back next yr :xedfingers:
Saw that they are only hacking (demolishing) the existing building.
Looks like they will need at least another 18 months before the new building can be ready. -

I went last year. FAILED though.hi Mummies
Can someone share with me what kind of questions will be asked during interview for PV? I will be attending the session on 31 May. So nervous now....
Thanks!
Basically they needed ppl who are free during office hours.
If you can show that you are available during office hours on a regular basis for a period of 10 weeks, then u shd be selected. -

Jus to add, you can check the history of balloting with the link:

Ph 2B is for PV and clans, etc (correct me if i am wrong) regardless of the distance you are staying from the school.
Last year's balloting in Ph 2B shows around 80 fighting for the 51 vacancies. Ph 2C (within 1km) also has about 80 fighting for 51 vacancies.
If you have served 40 hrs and qualify for Ph 2B, but failed in the balloting exercise, u can then forget about phase 2C. -

:imdrowning:
I don't think there is such a programme at KHS. However, I hear the swimming CCA is also equally good and it can help the children to learn swimming.
Swimming is a very popular CCA becos few people actually know how to swim at P3. After about 1 year, a lot of students actually quit. You can try sending ur child to the CCA when you fill out the application form for CCA.
