I think the staff will tell you if there is a chance to try if you are 1-2km. I heard now the Q number is like 40? I wonder if all are 1km applicants....

Hi Junemum,

Did you receive the confirmation letter from KH on the child's enrollment into Primary one next year?

We called the school and they told us that those who were present during the balloting day , will not receive the confirmation letter. Instead, they will send us the letter on the orientation schedule.

Yes i just got it yesterday night. Its the same enrollment form we filled up and at the bottom, there are 2 options :


1. You have successfully enrolled your child
2. You have not etc

If its 1, they did indicate the orientation day. Its on 26/11 at 0900hrs.

Were you one of the parent under 2b and got ballot successfully? If yes, you should be receiving the letter really soon.

We did not get in during the phase 2B ballot will have to try it again under phase 2C. really long and stressful wait…5/Aug for the result and i am sure there will be ballot going on for >1KM. any idea when will the ballot going to be? have to go thru the ballot again…really hope we will be IN this time round. otherwise by then all our 2nd choice of school will not be available under phase 2C suppl…stresssss…

yes I can understand and I will be like you feeling stressed if I didnt get ballot as the choice around our area is really limited. KH is the only school within 1km.

Did you ask the staff when will be the ballot?

Staff told me that many are living near my place.

My fren told me that his neighbour was told by staff that if he is living more than 1km away then dont waste time… that was yesterday afternoon.

Not all are within 1km. But most probably at least 47 are within 1km that's why the staff said that.

Of cos, the staff will still enrol them if the parents insist, knowing that they dun get a chance to even ballot.
