In other words, this Swimsafer program is not compulsary? My dd passed her bronze too. I find the swimming lessons conducted by the school a waste of time.

I think so but I remember it says 'strongly encourage'...I would be very worried if I let her attend without my present,,..no play play...water la...

                hi vlim,

my dd is equally excited as well. Yesterday she told me that Mr Goh announced that pupils are not allowed to bring hp & camera. Teachers will check their bags b4 leaving. If found any hp, teacher will keep it.

U intend to visit the zoo during the day to have a peep?

Btw, how many set of pe attire are your dd bringing? Currently, my dd has 2 sets. So one set she will wear to go and the other set she will bring it there...Just wonder should I buy another set for her to bring there to change???

                    hi vlim,

my dd has 3 PE Tshirts - wear 1 & bring 2. She has 1 PE shorts only. Since she still can put on the shorts which she wore in Pri1 & 2, I will let her bring that shorts too 🙂 So total 2 PE tshirts, 2 shorts 🙂

I worried she may hv cough...so will let her bring along her ventolin & flixotide puff for standby. Trying to lighten her bag but seems quite a no. of items to bring...especially that sleeping bag...aiyoh...so big even we bought the smallest one for her.

                      Hi babybob111,

Just now I went to Giant to buy sleeping bag for my dd. I also bought whistle and a small compass for her ..hahaaaaaa. So she will be taking a backpack and a shoulder carry bag to the zoo camping :boogie: ..not very heavy so is managable for her..
