as for keeping the sleeping bag after use, i have got my boy a drawstring bag from daiso (which is bigger than the sleeping bag's bag) to save him the hassle of rolling the sleeping bag into the compact size which i myself find quite tough.

      Hi 7788,
Thanks for all the tips πŸ™‚

      Vlim,
Oh I find that the sch does not give clear instructions to all parents. They shld come out with a list of FAQ and let us read. Else so many parents will be emailing and calling Mr Goh and he may be repeating his answers many times (some of our concerns are quite similar).

DD has to wear the skirt on Fri & Sat?? Aiyoh the letter also didn't mention. My DD has only 1 skirt.

I let my DD use my hubby's Deuter backpack. I put all the toiletries, clothes into it and buckle the sleeping bag outside the backpack. Last nite I managed to find 1 of my sling bag  Will let her use my sling bag then 😎

Indeed we are more anxious than them πŸ™‚

Now I'm confused if to let DD bring 2 sets of PE attire or just 1 set. Hubby said just stay 1 night, not necessary to bring 2 sets. :? Cos bedtime they will be wearing pyjamas.

I'm also concern of mosquitos, bought mosquito repellent and mosquito patch too...haha seems quite a no. of items to bring.

          Dear Parents,

For future camping needs, just go to Beach Road Food Centre - 3rd Floor.
They have ALL camping needs there. My son went for the P5 camp recently and we bought everything from there !

I ended borrowing a sleeping bag from colleague when I could not find any at Giant Tampines and Giant Sembawang for my P5 girl camp last month. Now so many posts here where to get sleeping bags :slapshead: ...

I am aware that they only stay one night.. But let her bring 2 set of pe attire just in case ... Not buying extra skirt. Will just let her wear 1 there. If dirty Liao them don't wear lo πŸ˜‰ ..
Last time dh brought us to beach road too .. Indeed many camping stuff there.. He used to camp alot during school time.

                vlim,

I heard fr my dd that Mr Goh spoke to them this morning. He mentioned that it is more appropriate for the girls to put on the sch skirts if they will be wearing shorts. Reason being they are growing and it's not nice to be only in shorts. Alternatively, they can wear track pants or long slacks.

I will just let her wear skirts. Like what u said u dirty liao then just wear shorts will do πŸ™‚

The bus will leave Zoo at 12 noon. So I wonder what time we shld wait at the school to fetch them. 12.15pm? 12.30pm?

Second thought...not a bad idea to let them wear track pant after their evening shower as they still have some activities after that till 10+pm..... 😐 ...and it can protect them from mosquitoes bite also...

                    aiyo..headache..

That is a good idea. Keeping the sleeping bag is indeed a challenge.

I emailed Mr Goh abt the timing. He never mentioned what time at all...just told me that bus will leave zoo at 12pm sharp. So we ownself hv to estimate the time I suppose 😞
