Hi,Hi,
Anybody staying at punggol and taking school bus? May I know what time is the pick up and drop off for both morning and afternoon session? And the route is straight to school or does the bus detour?also how much is the bus fees? Thank u very much!
You might want to call up the school bus service to check with them directly. I think they do have bus from Punggol. Probably those mini van type. We are at upper serangoon (near HIPS) and we are paying $125 for the mini van. -
Hi all,
I need some advise from you. I m living in woodlands n my kid will be going to maha bodhi in jan 2013. Anyone living in woodlands also sending their kid to the school via school bus or personal transport? -
jslbt76 - Don't think any school bus ply woodlands cos it is really too far. Anyway, it is still best to contact the school bus operator to find out. Visit the school website for the contact no. (not sure if the link below works)

Hi all, i am planning to bring my gal for a short holiday on 8 Aug…I am worried my gal will miss out teaching if she’s absent on 8 Aug…
Will there be any lesson conducted on 8 Aug or just celebration?
TIA -
usually only celebration. all students will report to school in the morning and be dismissed early after celebration. do refer to the term 3 calendar. you may wish to call the school to confirm to play safe.

Hi, I am thinking of sending my boy (born in Yr 08) to MBS. However MBS do not accept parent volunteer and we parents are not former students of the school. But we do stay within 1km of MBS.
Any idea of my boy’s chances to get into the school? -
within 1km definitely get a chance to ballot when demand>supply. if you are lucky, may even escape balloting even when demand>supply if supply is sufficient to cater to all within 1km (ie. balloting only for those between 1km & 2km). good luck to you!

Based on historical records from 2006 till 2011 (available in this website), there are balloting for those staying within 1km. 2007 was the only year where they had balloting for those 1-2km.Hi, I am thinking of sending my boy (born in Yr 08) to MBS. So this is highly risky unless you don't have other better choices and want to take a risk. MBS does not accept PV and I strongly believe this is the right thing to do unlike some schools where demand is strong and they still accept PV thereby disappointing parents..... I think that is so irresponsible as it's like giving false hopes and also \"making use\" of PV resources.
The only way to get priority is probably through grassroot or member of SBF. SBF seems to be a grey area. For grassroot, there are criterias to be met as well especially in terms time frame. -
Hi all, any idea is P1 took their jab yet?

Don't think so as I don't recall my P1 relating to me the :nailbite: experience.
