Any P5 parents here? How did your kid fare for this SA1?
Hi, My P5 's maths and science sustained but CL and EL dropped. You can look at the average class/ level scores in the report book to get a gauge on how your child fared. In most case, it's normal to experience a decline during their 1st P5 exams. My P6 also went through that last year for CA1. -
P5 mommies,
Does your child need to stay back for supplementary lessons? Is it compulsory? How many days per week? MTIA -

Last year, my now p6 boy stayed back 2 days per week for supplementary lessons…it is not compulsory but students are strongly encouraged to attend. teachers for some subjects may continue normal lessons during after-school supplementary periods if all the students were around i think.

Hi, yes P5 definitely has to stay back but I forgot to ask my child how many days.... Most likely as 7788 has mentioned, it is 2 days. BTW, I think they call it extended lessons this year?

May I know if it's always the same one or two subjects the whole term or year? Thanks. -
It’s all 4 subjects per week. 2 subjects at a time on 1 day and another 2 subjects on the other day throughout the year.

Thanks 7788.
I’ve always thought it’s just Higher Chinese. What time do these classes end on those 2 days? -
Supplementary lessons (or n.k.a. extended lessons) on the 2 days are conducted from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm for the 2 days.
