I also just received the letter that my son's registration under 2A1 is successful.


With my golden piglet son settled for P1, it also paved the way for my dragon gal in 5yrs' time, which I foresee it would be even tougher fight & maybe MOE rules might even change by then, but at least they have to take care of sibling, just nice before my son graduates from pri sch as by then he wld be in P6. The 2 kids really know how to make the parents \"sweat\" by coming to this world in the popular years!!!

marksim - best to check with sch bus supplier directly regarding timing and fee. as a rule of thumb, one-way trip fee is 80% of two-way trip fee.

Hi everyone, my daughter has just been enrolled to MB under 2A1. Just got the letter from the school today. not more headache cos I still got another 2 gals down the line.

This year appears to be a bumper piglet year. Was just looking at MBS statistics after phase 2A2. There are only 79 places left so around 39 - 40 places for phase 2B and 2C respectively. Historically it was around 55 for phase 2B and 2C.

Fortunately there isn't any PV programme otherwise it will add alot of pressure for phase 2B parents....

You might want to check with MOE. Are they related in legal sense?

I've a cousin who adopted a child and child qualify under phase 2A. So I assume if legally, relationship is established, it should be fine. But pls check.

My girl entering to MBS P1 this year under Phase 2B, I have joint-custody rights but not "care and control". My boy will turn 6 in 3 years time, i’m guessing they are both blood and legally related. Have called up the school wrt this matter though, they do allow registration with such affiliation but requires the consensus of the other party (my ex). complications… complications… and complications.

Hello! Just registered my boy yty, though haven't got the confirmation letter, should be 99.99% in right? :xedfingers: First class service during registration, admin lady could even sit down and chat with us. She said orientation day for parents likely to be on Oct 16th ~ for some admin paperwork like school bus, uniform and books buying etc while the school orientation with kids is later in Dec last week.

I also registered at Bao Ta school care after visiting this and the MBS affiliated one. Chose BT coz they could confirm a placing while the other one could only tell me in Sept. MBS student care only serves veg food. The children in both centres were very well behaved, hope it will be good influence on my son and not him being the pai kia there :yikes:


One relieved mummy here about not having to ballot and so far good feeling about the school, so here’s hoping my boy integrates well and make good friends there.

I will be registating under Phase 2C, super stressed now. If cannot get in, I don't know where else to register. I am only a stone throw from the school
