We didn’t manage to get it, very sad, staying opposite but cannot get it. Next choices will be Eunos Pri and Telok Kurau. Both schools needs to take school bus I guess, we are really concern about the logistic. Which one should we go to?

I live in Punggol and former student of Maha Bodhi, so I’m debating whether to send my sons there or a neighborhood school here around Punggol.

1) What time would the Punggol school bus pick up the kids? And what time do they need to reach school?

2) how much are the school bus fees 1-way or 2-way (If nobody from Punggol do share roughly how much are yours too)

3) How much are after school care fees? And is it hard to get a slot.

Traveling time via car is between 15 to 30 mins (On average). Via Public transport, it will take between 45 - 60 mins.

You might want to consider the enrollment rate of your target school in punggol. This year, there quite a number of balloting (within 1 km) in phase 2C. Ie to say, if you stay > 1 km, you dont even get to balloting phase.

Traveling time is subjective. I recall that it was a normal to travel 2 hours via car in certain countries. Of course that works differently in Singapore. The going get tough in the upper primary as CCA starts kicking in. Heard of cases where student live in the East and studied in West.

We stayed in hougang and happened to have 4 buses from our place to Maha Bodhi. My kids used to have friends who stayed in SK/ Punggol area.


Used to see students staying at punggol/ sengkang area taking bus no. 51, alighting at our place to change bus to their place. Separately wondered with the Ubi? MRT will that help?

Hi, is there anyone staying in Queenstown/Redhill area and send their kids to Maha Bodhi? May I know how do you manage the logistics (to/fro) e.g. what time do you have to leave house if you are driving and how is the traffic in the morning? For after school, what time does the child reach home if you are using school bus service? Thank you.
