The Alternative Story tuition center is at the Paya lebar post office building ..Have not tried there..but they are pretty active in this forum ...else you can also look out for Mindstretcher which have quite a number of outlets...

I don't think the kids need to go. I am going alone.

I think if you do not have alternative child care arrangement for your DD, you can bring her along. Last year when I attended, some of my DS' classmates came with their parents.

today get to meet my dd English (form teacher), Maths cum Science and Chinese teachers...all 'looks' good! My girl should be able to learn alot of things from them

Went for the morning session with teachers today… The relief teacher from my dd’s class was not able to provide much info and seem to have wasted my time meeting the relief teacher. She’s not very people oriented and not tactical in handling parents’ queries… What a great disappointment! Can’t wait for the actual form teacher to be back to teach the class soon! Luckily the chinese session still can gave me some insights of the chinese programme and the various activities that will be conducted for the year thought not very in depth!!! Got to manage my expectations!!!

Disappointed with today’s meet the parents session as we did not even get to meet the form teacher. As the FT couldn’t come, they got another teacher to do the briefing. We couldn’t get much useful inform also as this teacher was not a FT of any class. pity the teacher who was bombarded with Ana from those who came late cos they didn’t know the teacher was just standing in for the FT who couldn’t come.
