Champion:
Oh, I found it under the \"Kep Personnel\" heading....

Wah looks very smart :celebrate:
Yes, indeed πŸ˜„ Most of the HOD I have seen them around in school and I think one or two of them are newly promoted :celebrate:

E.g.
Mdm Tan Mei Ying
Subject Head – Special Proj/PLD

She is the CL co-ordinator and happened to be my gal's CL teacher for these 2 years. She is a very dedicated and caring teacher. And she is very strict with handwriting - 笔画 must be correct and neat, else she deducted marks on that...Haha...I kudo her for her insistence and strictness - the students learn to write proper chinese characters.
hey my 2010 p6 teachers were ms santhana mrs chia lai seow poh and miss sim chor miang... they are dedicated and caring! somemore they are the HOD of english maths and special projects and pupils' development respectively! πŸ™‚

nice to have you here in this forum!
good to hear your teachers are great.

we have experienced that with our kids too. many of the teachers put in a lot of effort indeed. really appreciate them.

doublesmile,

nan hua is an excellent school too, although you can also appeal if you want, since you are so close to getting in to your dream sch?
i guess you must have done pretty well in the psle, well done!

yes ds1 is in cps now, and another 2 more in line- future cps students. πŸ™‚

summergem,
yes 4th of jan is the 1st day for pri schs/ govt schs/ sec schs.

3rd of jan is 1st day for my ds2 cos he's in a kindy that operates as childcare too. they cater to working parents so they start earlier.

ahhh, i am excited for school to start too! during long sch term, i wish for hols so i don't hve to wake up so early with the kids but aft this looooong yr end hols with 3 kids 24/7 with me, i am so happy for the sch term to start!!

doublesmile,

oh dear, sorry to hear that.
I know it doesn't sound very comforting to you now, but Nan Hua is really very good too, and I think you will enjoy being there as much as at RVH.

I used to teach in JC and had students from RV and Nan Hua and they were all very confident, very smart, very kind, very respectful of teachers. I have good impression of students from both schools and their academic or other achievements do not differ much. Seriously.

Most importantly, whichever school you enter, you must give your all there and not keep thinking about \"what ifs\". Enjoy yourself to the fullest, join the CCA you love, and study hard. Life will be great.
