Hi all,

My son has jus transferred to Juying Primary Pri 2 nxt year. He was from Nan Chiau Pri in Sengkang. So basically he is totally new to JY. Can mothers whose children been through Pri 2 onwards to enlighten me on the school and its progress? Its true that Nan Chiau is very good school but its a bit stressful for my son who was Pri 1 that time.

        Hi there!

Me too! my son was from Chongfu Joining only next week...reading the posts and going thru the JPS website and their slides, more or less like Chongfu's way of curriculum..Only that JPS 's EL1 having additional books .

        Hi everybody!

Hi to all of you parents who are new to Juying:)
As you are asking about school,I being a parent found it very good. The Principal, managment and class teachers all are very friendly and eager to help us and our kids.
So most important thing on your part is how much you are giving your time and company to him/her,after that you can see a better child in your kid:)

        Cheers
Hi Nahir!,

        Thank you!
Yes, the form teacher is also good.Being a first timer in JPS,she always mass sms parents of homeworks available or any timetable changes. I am also glad the admin staff also asked whether I need any financial assistance which definately helps us. Some schools dont bother to ask.

Hi All, do you have any bad experience with school bus - Aik Wei ? I think this bus operator services level is very poor and problematic. They didn’t come to pick my kid on 15 April 2013 and the bus driver didn’t say anything about that on the next day. He still act like we-owe-him that kind of attitude.

Usually do you ask the contact from driver or not ? Any one has experienced this before ? Please share…

Sounds like a good school, I would also like to send my kid to this one. Hope I get the opportunity as many of the lucky ones have already had.

Hi parents, my son had transferred to juying primary school when he was in primary 2. Now he still in P2. I dnt regret transferring him cos he had improved tremendously especially his maths. Hope he can stay this way till P6

Went to the JYPS fiesta yesterday at west coast park. We had fun with my son joining the games eg dance freez and spongebob race. Although it rained and the field was a bit muddy, we had fun with the rest of the parents. The PSG really put a great job in bonding parents and children. Thumbs up!!
