HiToday giving out Report Book is it?
Like to find out from mommies with P5 kids......
Have heard before that the load gets increasingly scary from P5. Any idea how scary? Will they still have time to complete assessment? Wondering if I should get any during the coming 20% discount in Popular
I currently hv 2 DDs in upper primary @ Rulang. Their workload is indeed heavy but managable. I noticed that through the many assessment & mock papers provided, my DDs not only learn content and process skills, but also strategies on how to answer exam questions succinctly and clearly (esp science and compre). Their teachers are v dedicated and will go thru OE question in details to help them in answering questions. This has made it easier for me to do weekend revisions with my DDs or coach them before an examination as I appreciate better what is expected from the papers.
My DDs are privileged to be able join the top classes where they learn not only from the teachers but also from their many friends in class who work hard, are bright and are good role models to them. The teacher shares many well-written student essays with them and the kids are exposed to competitions, projects and presentation opportunities beyond school lessons.
Although one of my DD is weaker in math, she is encouraged by her classmates who are good in it. She sees them as role models and this has encouraged her to practice and put in more effort in math. I am very thankful to their teachers. My elder DD's teacher even called me one evening (over my concern abt my DD's math) and we spoke for over an hour on how we can help her overcome her areas of weakness. Rulang teachers are indeed a great bunch of educators! -

Yes, time really flies. My DD has grown from a little girl holding on so tightly to me on her first day of school, to a big girl all ready to move into sec 1 next year! Seems like only yesterday that my DDs were brought round the school by prefects during P1 oriention. This Saturday, they will be the ones sharing their school experiences with the new P1s .... :hi5: -
Hi all,
I am new here.
Tomorrow will be bringing my elder boy for his Pri 1 orientation, hope everything goes well as will be bringing my younger boy (3 yrs old) along, together with my hubby.

Yeah could be classmates ... my other DD is in P5. Another year of PSLE stress, as well as taking longer leave again ... my boss won't like this :stompfeet:etiks,

Ok, and our girls are prefects helping out tomorrow!
Wow, this year has been very stressful and you will be going through another round of coastal ride next year!
