      Rosella:
There is no CAs for p1 right?

For P1, they called it enrichment programs.
And they have rope skipping, robotics, wu-shu, violin.
      Maybe 1 or 2 more....

...All must pay extra $ hor...

          YES, but can use edusave!

There are plenty of such programmes during CCSP.

There is no \"streaming\" in p1 ie all will go to the same class in p2.

At the end of p2, kids will be \"sorted\" based on their results; there will be top 3 classes namely the best 1st, best 2nd and best 3rd, followed by mixed classes.

At the end of p3, based on their results, the same process happened again but not a great shuffle.

During p3, the form teacher will also choose suitable kids to become prefects and they will undergo some training during sch hols to become prefects in p4.

At the end of p4, kids/parents can decide if they want to take up Higher Mother Tongue in p5. The MT teacher will also make suggestions or recommendations.

At the end of p5, the school will DECIDE whether the kid can continue with HMT for p6.

Just curious, at which level are the kids selected by the school to take the GEP test, how do they select and what's the criteria. P3? :?

I read from fellow parent in this forum, it is near 3rd or 4th term of P3.
As to how are they selected to take the GEP, really got no idea.
There're many threads on GEP in this forum, but I too lazy to read.
                  (So long threads.....crazy mannn....)

I forgot if there were any fees for taking GEP test. Anyway, near end of term 3 or 4 as mentioned earlier by another parent.

I think Rulang’s website has some info on the number of pupils being selected for GEP for the past few years.

Dont remember paying any fees for GEP test.

This is for P3 all students, sometime in Aug/Sep.

2 tests - those who passed the 1st test will be notified and sit for 2nd test. Tested on general abilities and Eng, Math
