In the package is Welcome letter from P, documentss to bring to school, bring $15, exact change, for catered food (for kids 9 days), temp name tag and cloth name tag)

Bklist - We can pass to bkshop and after briefing get the bks but can also buy later, there's a schedule for buying bks after 18Nov

Forms - Giro, consent form for dental treatment, pupil profile form,

Information sheet - reporting time, entrance pts, pick-up pts, first day stuff, hair-cut, uniform, communication, etc, Have to buy HW socks.

I can't find information about the purchase of uniform though.....maybe later read more thoroughly

no exams, but they seem to have surprise tests becos DS will come back and tell me they did this and that. I believe they have oral and listening compre - just saw DS' 'result slip' for his chinese o&l.

but no stress becos they don't inform parents before it happens. Anyway, the class will follow through to P2. So the grades don't matter. Probably will jump only when I see the results (recently our friend coming home with careless mistakes on his papers) :stupid: :slapshead:

My DD1, copy printed words can copy wrong one hor. Plus she can miss whole qns or even a page and still tell me she completed the work.

The worst thing is, her eye-sight is near perfect…so she must be visiting lala land.

Hoping that she will outgrow this stage…

haiz…mine also can make that mistake. whole question forget to do…and it’s only 2 page exercise.


Have been preaching to him the virtue of checking through his paper - even non-exam types. Not sure when that will become something he does automatically.
