the pick up time is 6:55am, still alright and if sick, just need to call up driver.
The pick up time is not too early, that's nice for your DS.

Now that DD1 is going P1 next yr, I'm kinda excited about the release of the PSLE results on Thurs.

Here's wishing all the best to the P6 students in Hong Wen :rahrah:

Yes, best wishes for the P6ers.

Also, come what may, PSLE is only a small milestone in their lives. Those who did well, Congrats! Those who didnโ€™t, life goes on, and will be much better!

            Hi helping hand and parents,

is the school release timing is quite accurate? (after cca or the normal release time daily). For school bus, not sure if they are able to wait for the students. And during orientation, nothing mention about saturday or holiday extra class. Is there any remedial lesson or cca during saturdays?

              Hi,

seeking p6 parent to share on nearby + good tutition centre to share to brush up el + math.

              tia

I'm not a P6 parent but just to share, for maths, there are many postive postings for Concept Maths at Goldhill Centre. I spoke to her and find that she knows her stuff. I will see how DD1 fare in P1 before deciding.

As for Eng, I believe in the importance of reading, reading and reading. So I did not really research on it. I heard the compo at Learning Lab is good though awfully ex. The other place that has many good reviews is The Alternative Story but it's not nearby.

              Hi SAHM_TAN,

              welcome DD1 to HWS!

ya TLL is ex & also they gage on the marks before reg. TAS dont have the slot that suit. Will call CONCEPT MATH.

              Thanks!

Urm... Most CCAs should end @ around 4.15--4.30. If your child walks back home, you will be expecting them to be around 5.00...?
@ my time, P1-P3st go home immediately after school because no reminders (why need reminders??) but CCAs they would need to stay back.
More infomation would be given to you when child grows older.
Reminders SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN on weekends but CCAs will but a few.
Tell me if i missed anything. TIA ๐Ÿ˜„

                    simsl_sg,

DD1 is interested in wushu, at the openhouse, the students told me that if the student is on the school team, there will be training on Sat. So I guess for other CCA that compete, the students might have training on Sat, if he/she is on the school team.

Thanks for the well-wishes. As parents it's in our DNA to worry about our kids, even when they are doing well in the all areas in their lives ๐Ÿ˜‰
