Chung Cheng High Main V.S. Tanjong Katong Girls School V.S. Nan Chaiu High School V.S. Tanjong Katong Sec School
I can have the opportunity to chose 4 of them.
Please help me. I am really dunno which is a better school.

For P1 kiddos, do we really have to label EVERYTHING? I :faint:

I did. Even tucked in a label into his school bag. Wallets and bottles are must becos they may leave it aside when playing catch. Went all the way to label each colour pencil becos worried they may mix up when using.

All 4 schools listed above are in Band 2, so I guess academically wise they are comparable.

Did you visit the respective threads of the schools to learn more about the school culture, subject combinations offered, CCAs, etc?

Both CCH (M) and NCH are SAP , so if you like to continue to study in SAP environment, you can put them as higher piority. You could also use your HMT 2pts. Though NCH's website state that they are accorded in 2012, so it's best you double check can use for this current posting exercise or not. In addition, CCH (M) is affiliated to NYJC, so that's a plus too.

From what I know there are HW seniors in TKSG, TKSS and CCH (M), not sure if that's a pull factor for you too.

Go through their websites, the green book \" choosing your secondary school\", and try to find parents with kids from those schools or kids from there to learn more. Then follow your instinct. Best wishes in choosing the school that you like to grow with

My sister said that if i had been in a Primary School for 6 years that has SAP, maybe try some NON-SAP secondary schools. I don't mind affiliation because deduct 2 points is only a bonus. I will go or TKGS as first choice as i wanted to strengthen my english subject and not chinese now.

another maths one to check is Novel Learning Center. If the foundation is good and need help on more difficult problems, you can also try to buy books published by onsponge to let your child try. You can purchase their book on their online store.

For English, I know of an experienced former teacher but I did not try because she teaches upper primary. If you and lionheart want to check her out, let me know and I will pm the contact of the centre.

Some parents have positive experience at novel learning centre. I have not spoken to them yet. They are backup incase others do not work out

I suggest during this hols, just take some time to visit the various centres and compare to find the one suitable for your child.

ya already check this & ask ard any tuition centre so that can make comparison & also check on the dist. most imp is the dist as dont want to wear out the kid.as next yr will b plenty of wk & stay back in school....
