I re-read the instruction on what to bring on 1st day of school and on the topic of pencils, it is stated to bring at least 3 pencils.
So shall add one more in DD1's pencil case
Since there's catered food for 1st 2 wks, so there's no need to give them $$$ right? -
My ds P1 next year also. Actually u can give the kid extra $1 in case he/she not enough food then they can buy food.

You are a SAHM so you run a higher risk than working mums to want to arrange and do more for your child's schoolwork. This is something that seems inevitable for most SAHM coz many of them think that if oredi not working and still cannot groom kids with good academic results, then 太对不起自己and老公了。My sis is a classical example of SAHM falling into this trap... (her WHOLE LIFE revolves around her 3 kids' schoolwork. To me, it's utterly FOOLISH instead of 伟大！) -

Yes, first two weeks they should not have to spend money. Understood it was two weeks of fried beehoon or something. DS couldn't look at beehoon after that. -
But if you fear she may go hungry, no harm to put the wallet in her bag, make sure she knows about it. DS ever thought he was penniless, but he didn’t check…grrrrrr

Hihi, white socks will do. I also got some with grey bottom, white on top. That one also can - figure the grey bottom will make perspiration not so noticeable. -

DD1 loves beehoon but I don't like to let her eat so often. She will love the lunch, but dunno for how long, if it's beehoon most of the time heehee -
I let her weear the HW socks, since price difference not much. She only has a few white socks at home, most are hello kitty and similar design socks.

DD1 has a small appetite, doubt she will be hungry again after the catered food. But will give her some money just in case primary school life increase her metabolism :evil:
