Ya. I gave up and outsource. Better leave it to the experts.

Btw my kid told me most of his classmates are on the stretch program…so it could be quite wide spread. I’m glad they are starting them young to build firm foundation then if they only do in upper primary and the poor child find it harder to catch.

I thought Stretch is only for those students who is good. Sort of stretch them to be even better. There is another program (cannot remember the name) that is for weaker students. Those average students will need to manage on their own.

But I think most P5/6 will have regular stretch lesson to cover the daily school syllabus.

Also, he just received letter to attend Chinese Stretch programme (2.15 - 3.15pm on Wednesdays)
I received it last week also. Was puzzled what is that stretch programme about. DD got it for both English and Chinese. Is it DD can't catch up that's why need extra lessons... I think they should add on to the letter. On what is the stretch programme about.. what is their aims.... etc.. so we parents can have a clearer picture also.

DM (Dear Mum) will help me fetch her back from school.

Any mummies know.. canteen still sells food after school or not?

Stretch program is enrichment program for top or weaker students. Since it is enrichment program, parent can opt out.[/quote]hi Smum, LSP is meant for the weaker students but I dun hear it so often nowadays.

Stretch program is quite ambivalent, a parent say it's for both end of the spectrum (top and bottom) so i quite curious what goes on but so far never bothered to check with my kid's teachers directly. maybe this mean he is in the middle - I'm happy with that. nonid too good, but dun have to scrape the barrel.

Are there changes to the cost of food in the canteen? I don’t remember reading it in the school’s newsletter. Maybe I missed out some note?

I also dunno, yesterday dd1 told me there was an increased in price for the bee hoon that she usually ordered. So in the end she didn’t order becos she thought she didn’t have enough money. But today she told me back to same price. So I’m at a lost of what actually happened.

Like Coe, go up and down? Kekekeke. Mine is back to his milo drinking ways. Cannot imagine that he can just have milo for the whole morning…fresh air and milo. Amazing…

More like stock market prices, today increased again. I asked DD1, did she bought the same items, bought from same person? The answers were yes. So now I’m really puzzled as to what is happening. Tmr will call the school.

Your ds’ body very efficient, just milo and fresh air will do. LOL

Wondering if the school will know. Why not you venture in to find out? Mine will be horrid in telling me what is the price, I’m just grateful for any nugget of information on what he ate (or did not eat) during the day.

amazing hor. Given our body sizes, milo and fresh air will actually suit me better (so I can slim down); and he eat what I eat…topsy turvy world.
