first time, he did not close up his school bag. well, learnt from the lesson. He zipped up the school bag since then, but the book is still missing.

After zipping up the bag no more stuff went missing ?

It seems it's norm in a lots of schools nowadays. I just worry that if no one point it out when they are still young, the kids might have the midset, you can do everything as long as you don't get caught. 😞

So, we have to watch out their behaviour....

ya i think should feedback to the school leh.

if teacher no action maybe to the P? 🤷
I just tink is for the kids' benefit, both the victim and the thief.

Off track, how soon after submitting PV form should we begin to hear from the school with duties?

Ya, the kid who stole if that's the case will need counselling and help.

During my time, in 2011, the tr-in-charge will email to all PVs abt the duties and it will be quickest finger win. Those duties are ad-hoc kind. If you have signed up for regular duties then the person-in-charge will contact you.

I think during my time it was in Jul. But I suggest give them a tinker in May before school close for the hols.

I think this is sth they should learn when they're growing up. Chinese says \"已所不欲,勿施于人\". At least, I can teach him not to do the same thing to others.

should I start PV now? How does pv work; you will get it once apply?

I didn't know that PSLE results are no longer disclosed. When did it change?

Actually my husband joined hokkien Huey Kuan two years back hoping to get into their affiliated schools through p2b. But seems like p2b is always in red. And recently SHHK put up a notice on pv scheme yet it is not guarantees that there will be recommendation letters for p2b.

I stay within 1k of hw n St. Andrews. I believe he should be a better choice.
If you want to PV, you will have to apply now becos you are registering in 2014 for 2015 P1.

Not sure how's the selection process like now. During my time, the school was only hot during P2C, P2B was still safe. Last yr, balloting occurred for those living 1-2km applicants. So not so sure if this yr they will make any changes.

The PV form can be downloaded fr the school's homepage.

Not sure abt the PSLE result qn.

Hi, my DD is eligible for Phase 2A2 at Hong Wen. Base on past results, does anyone know the chances of getting into the school in this phase? Do we still need to ballot?
