yaya… we selected hws cos of the P Mr. Ngoh… we like him coz of his saying…
品德好的学生,成绩不会差到那里… dont want hws to be like other sap sch… which are so academics drive… -
Heard that Mr Ngoh will be retiring soon too. Hope it’s not true
-
Is Mr Ngoh at the retirement age? He looks so young.
If he wish to retire, I hope he can still be involved with the school in some ways.
But I hope he stays on. -
I don’t think that having 2 VP means he is retiring la. better to hear from horse’s mouth. thought when MOE want to reassign, they will just wham and do it.

does anyone know if hw conduct supplementary class after sch? i know some other sch do offer supplementary lesson to their student. And i’m juz wondering if this "supplementary" equivalent to our "Stretch" prog?
-
Yes they do. Kids will be given consent forms to inform parents if they are selected, and this goes by subject.

last term, i requested the subject teacher to place my dd into stretch prog but was turned down. Reason : she sees her being above average and unnecessary. Therefore i'm just curious if this stretch prog diff from the supplementary class? -
bumbum,
which type of supplementary classes are you referring to?
I think there’s a type of supplementary classes that are meant for whole class.
The stretch prog is for selected students. -
I attended tea session last yr. this is what they mention for stretch prog.
It caters to 2 groups of students. Those who fail or doing very bady and those who are academically very strong.
They didn’t give a percentage like bottom % or top % will be selected for stretch. -
SAHM_TAN:
for my understanding, the stretch prog is meant for \"specific\" students only. is there such a supplementary class in hw ?(like wat u mention above - for the whole class?)bumbum,
