Hi, anyone knows about how the streaming system works in hws? Is it done in p3? Or every year? Based on all main subjects?

My girl is in P4 this year. There is a streaming in P2 whereby they group high ability students in Best class and 2nd best class.

I heard from the Teachers during parents meeting day that end of P4 there is another streaming. Weaker students will be grouped in a Foundation Class where the teaching is more slower for the weaker students.

so P3 & P4 will stick to same class for these 2 years? no chance or rather slim chance for a normal class P3 to be posted to HA P4 class? was there any history for this?

After P3, the class size will change, from30 per class to 40 per class. And some top students May go gep school. Correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe they will regroup the kids. I guess. :evil:

You're welcome. But I'm still not sure if the streaming is done based on certain subject or all the main subjects or a secret formula :xedfingers: . Will find out from Teacher next week during ptc.
