SAHM_TAN:
I'm on my last 100 m dash now. It's a challenge, with baby \"koala\" and the older kids in the PM session. Once I crossed the finish line, I will take a photo of the time-sheet, print it and frame it
Completing your hours soon? Good luck and keep up the hard work. Would be really nice to see you in school!hquek:

I just hope I can get my DD in via phase 2B this year. Can't believe it, 3 more months plus plus, it will be P1 registration..........time flies by so fast. It seems like I only gave birth to her yesterday
I received a letter to inform that my son has to attend Learning Support Programme for English

Is ur ds in 1H? What is 'Learning Support Programme for English' about?
Yes my son is in 1H. I'm not sure too. I'll find out more on this Sat Session and will update here.
Received a call from the LSP Teacher, said my son is not in the program, said a mistake that he received the form. -
SAHM_TAN:
So kids under the other categories will not be inolved in the program?
We will not neglect other group also. We will build programs for them.
This program is to promote Fatherhood only.lionheart:

I think this is a good program. How do you want the mummies to support? Persuade the daddies to attend?
Just one question, how does the program address families with only mummies or divorced families or kids without parental support? -

That's also great to hear!
I finished the PTM early today. Turns out the appointed time is to meet the FT; Chinese teachers were at the MPH (multi purpose hall) - this is first come first served (chinese only). Quite helpful becos the chinese teacher was very detailed in telling us what we should be covering and what my kid should know already (else buck up).

hquek:
You prefer kid present or absent from the session?

Becos my kid didn't kena bad points, so I don't quite mind. Was wondering if the kids are there so teacher can remember what to say about the kid.

Anyway, chinese teacher ended up like instructing kiddo what to do/revise during the hols.

BTW, 1H parents, kindly note that the maths workbook that our kids need to bring - we have to process it (ie tear out the pages and staple according to units, and probably also write name so she knows whose it is). This to be brought when school starts.
My kid was unclear in his diary and I asked FT if we have to do anything. -

Me too! And we are the 1st parents to meet the form teacher. So far the comments are quite good, except that some comments mentioned that my dd sometimes will go to \"Alice in the Wonderland\" :lol:WorkingMommy:

We were a bit after you, so I went to see chinese teacher first. She was very detailed in telling us what we should be doing etc (text book, chinese flash cards etc). At least I now know what and how we should be covering.

I did feedback to FT that DS1 was carrying his show & tell props to & fro everyday....that perhaps they could be more specific as to when his presentation should be. She was quite receptive. I don't think I came across too negative (at least I hope not).
