Thanks for reminding us!!BTW, 1H parents, kindly note that the maths workbook that our kids need to bring - we have to process it (ie tear out the pages and staple according to units, and probably also write name so she knows whose it is). This to be brought when school starts.
My kid was unclear in his diary and I asked FT if we have to do anything.

Me too! And we are the 1st parents to meet the form teacher. So far the comments are quite good, except that some comments mentioned that my dd sometimes will go to \"Alice in the Wonderland\" :lol:WorkingMommy:
Received a call from the LSP Teacher, said my son is not in the program, said a mistake that he received the form.
That's also great to hear!
I finished the PTM early today. Turns out the appointed time is to meet the FT; Chinese teachers were at the MPH (multi purpose hall) - this is first come first served (chinese only). Quite helpful becos the chinese teacher was very detailed in telling us what we should be covering and what my kid should know already (else buck up).

We were a bit after you, so I went to see chinese teacher first. She was very detailed in telling us what we should be doing etc (text book, chinese flash cards etc). At least I now know what and how we should be covering.

I did feedback to FT that DS1 was carrying his show & tell props to & fro everyday....that perhaps they could be more specific as to when his presentation should be. She was quite receptive. I don't think I came across too negative (at least I hope not).

FT has all the good things to say about son. Chinese Teacher opp. Think my son is not interested in Chinese hence he talked and played during Chinese lesson!

No. As part of the stuff we buy, there are 2 packs of chinese flash cards. Wasn't sure if to bring to school or do what with it. teacher say to leave at home and 'play'; and told us what kid should know by now etc. Very detailed their chinese teacher and very 'say it in your face' also (ok, I like that last bit).

Yup, sometimes it's better to say it as it is. At least know what to expect. So you flash the cards in front of him like those right brain activities?
