Always dilly dally in evthg he does. Frm eating, bathing, chg..whole day is in slow-mo action. Still wan me to feed him! wake up can still tell me he needs time to warm up b4 getting out of bed!

Like tt hw to survive in pri sch? :?:
        Morning session smmore! :faint:

my son is also like that, dilly dally in morning, breakfast/lunch/dinner....only time when he is very fast is PLAY. Now we r slowly adjusting ihs routine, at least he is able to wake up earlier at 730am...we used to wake up only at 8am! Then we parents always late for work...Haaa

My son also same...how to go P1 like that...in preschool, the teachers will tell them to pack up. He ask me why P1 must listen to the bell...why won't the teachers come to them one and one and ask to pack up :yikes: :faint:

          Hi Nyahnyah,

They will know their class n b seated according to their class during orientation, unless there's a change in d orientation as it's a new principal now.

During my DS orientation time, I recalled we went to d hall, my boy was directed to sit with his class. Then they were brought to their classrooms by their respective form teachers while d parents stayed behind in d hall to listen to some talk by d Principal . I did see some parents sneek out of d hall to check on their kids, including my hubby haha. But anyway, not to worry, after d short talk, we were directed to our kids' classroom n we were introduced to d form tcher n also got to c their classmates.

After that , we proceeded to d canteen (the stalls will b opened that day) where d kids had d opportunity to buy food n drinks from d stalls. Opportunity for me to c what food was available so that I know whether to pack food for my fussy DS.

Bookshop n uniform shop will b opened that day too.

On d first day of school, all p1 will b assigned a p5 buddy for a week to help them during recess . My DS had a very nice buddy, showed him around d sch , told him what food was nice , n on d last day of his assignment gv my DS some stickers . There will b PSG members to assist d p1 during recess in d canteen too for d first week.

Hope all these infor helps .

            Sokk,
Thks so much for the details.

So excited!( During my time, where got such orientation.)

Is 1 wk enuff time for them to adapt? After tt, they will be left alone to fend for themselves? Cos my ds can be so blur at times...

              Hi Terry,

1 wk should b pretty sufficient, but again it depends on your kid. Some kids adapt really fast while some probably will take longer. Give your child lots of encouragement .

Don't forget to bring along your camera on that day. πŸ˜„

                        Hi,

Does anyone know how is the typical p1 sch time table like? Do I need to get a big sch bag that can hold A4 file?
