        Hi,

I would like to alert all parents whose child/children take his bus to & fro school.

Dont you think that he is too old to drive? The supervisor Michelle told me he is over 70+ years old and he cannot even remember my daughter’s name and in the first month has difficulty remembering the route.

Today, one of the students was late and after picking up my daughter, he got my daughter and another girl to go up the block of flats to search for that girl. When my helper who has just sent my other son came up to his bus adn asked him where was my daughter he said my daughter had gone up to look for this girl. My helper asked him why didnt he call the house and he said that he doesnt have the house number!! Befor this my helper heard him screaming and shouting at everyone in the bus when it wasnt even their fault or they did anything worng!
When my daughter and her friend went up, the other girl had come down but my daughter and her friend were still upstairs looking for her. hence, it was my helper who went up the block of flat to look for my daughter and her friend. When she found them they were all sweaty and tired! If your child is on this bus, we must do something about this driver and ask him to be changed as he is not fit to drive our children and we are paying $100++ a month for him to do so. Our children’s safety is at stake here. So i say lets all together ask the school to change this driver.

yes, it really happened as my helper was the witness and im sure parents can ask the childrn of that bus too and they will agree. Worst, the supervisor, Michelle who sub-con from ComfortDelGro was so rude. When i told her what had happened, she just told me that she was having her lunch and hang up the phone on me!

How can we assure the safety of our children when they are on the way to school and from school with such a driver handling them? We really have to put up a stand and together complain to the school to have this driver changed asap

The best is to inform school about this since the co-ordinator is so rude… School will take action and is faster 🙂

I have called the vp, comfortdelgro and spoken to the person in charge of the supervisor as well as moe who will refer the matter to the cluster sup

But as parent we should all be on the alert for such attitude by the bus drivers of our children.what if something happens to our children due to their neglect and carelessness? Who will be answerable?

                  Hi ,

May I know at which level does Tanjong Katong offer higher Chinese. What is the criteria the child must meet to be offered higher chinese.
One last question, do your children have lots of homework?
                  Thank you .

Hi, would like to share abt P1 as my son is in P1 this yr.

Like another mummy comments, there aren't much homework daily, but there is Chi & Eng (words) spelling every wk.
There are Chi & Eng 'show & tell' every sem also, if i remember correctly.
There are PTM every sem, which i find good as i get to know my son progress every 3 mth.
The FT of my son class is good also, during PTM she can give comments abt my son 'petty happening' in class, which mean she really pay attention to her students.
Another things is they had this school organiser book, i m not sure does every school has it?
It's a daily organiser, so students have to write down the daily homework, things to do/bring, n msg to parents from teacher if any.

Most importantly, my son enjoy his P1 very much, that's all that matter right? 😄
