For P1 parents,


P1 will be attending CCA starting tomorrow 22/01/13, 3-5pm. Every Tuesday & Thursday.

Class ends 1.30pm on Thursday and CCA will start at 3pm, do parents bring their kids home for lunch or bring lunch to school for them or let them eat in canteen?

May i know how much do parents give their P1 and P2 allowance a day?

Hi Charmaine,


I just called the school. Pls note that the CCA time is applicable for P3 onwards.

For P1 & P2, their CCA is still within the school curriculum hours.

Therefore, school still ends normal, 2.30pm (Mon to Wed) and 1.30pm (Thur to Fri).

My boy is starting badminton under PAL programme stated in the time-table.

As for pocket money, ranges from $1 - $2. As I do pack lunch box for my boy to consume during recess time.

Recently i heard 2 cases, both from my husband colleagues.

1st case: this boy leave opp Mee Toh, he is in Pri 1. there this upper primary student taking money from this lower primary kid. and he even warn him not to tell his mummy n daddy. if he do this big kid will punch this poor Pri 1 boy.

2nd case: same as above but this Pri 1 kid is taking school bus home. and he is being ask in the school bus. same the big boy warn this Pri 1 kid not to tell hia parents. don’t know how this big kid know that the Pri 1 boy told his daddy, without 2nd word he punch the Pri 1 boy. the daddy wanted to see the principal, the principal tell the daddy that "HE IS VERY BUSY, PLEASE MAKE APPOINTMENT WITH HIS SECRETARY". the daddy got pissed off and go make a police report.

all mummies out there, does any of your kids have this problem in school?

For me, every mon-wed i will give my girl $4, she will come back with $2+ for the 3wk (7 Jan - 23 Jan). last wk we notice that her wallet only come back with $0.30, she having the same food as the previous 3wk. then we start questioning her, she didn’t want to tell us. for now we still observed her for this wk.

Hi Kristine, sad to know that the principal is not forthcoming for such situation. I share your concerns as well.
Hope your girl is not involve in the above describe situation.
Currently, my boy is fine in school and manages his pocket money. We only provide him with $2 or $1.

i am not aware whether my son has such problem in sch (need to talk to him), only realised that he spent all his allowance in P3, not P2.

Hi Charmaine, I had pm you the words for page 2 of the spelling list. My son is in 1-3. I believe the spelling words are the same for P1.
